Supertones to Appear at Snowball Charirty Bash at Scarborough Hotel
21st Nov 2008
The event on Saturday November 29 at The Royal Hotel Scarborough features a drinks reception on arrival, three-course dinner and music from The Supertones.
The band will play classic 60s songs as well as a wide range of music from funk to rock to recent chart hits.
Jane Richardson, who is co-ordinating arrangements for the ball, told the Scarborough Evening News: “The Snowball is the first event on the Christmas social calendar in Scarborough.”
For information about booking tickets, which are £39.50 each, contact the hospice on (01723) 378406.
The Supertones have been together for six years, but only two of the original line-up – Carl Stephenson and Olly Barron – remain. The others are Lee Rudlington, Tony Lavery and Mark Payne. They play most weekends at local pubs and also around the north of England at private functions.
