SOAK UP SCARBOROUGH’S SUMMER SUN IN STYLE THIS SUMMER!

Holidaymakers who have chosen accommodation in Scarborough, including those staying at the ever popular Clifton Hotel, will now be able to relax on the beach in style thanks to 300 new high quality deckchairs.

The deckchairs, which will cost will cost £3 a day to hire, has been introduced as part of The Sands project, a stunning new development of 55 acres set within the spectacular scenery of North Bay Scarborough.

The concession is just part of the contract that also includes looking after North Bay’s 136 new and refurbished chalets. The North Bay Promenade has been given a major facelift with refurbishments to existing Chalets and the construction of 81 high quality new Chalets all brightly painted in typical seaside tradition.

The Promenade also features a new Beach Management Centre, which includes public toilets & showers with a new access ramp and a first aid room.

Meanwhile, work is continuing on the first two blocks of apartments being built as part of The Sands development, near the chalets.

The 100 luxury apartments are being built in two blocks and form the first phase of the 55-acre development in the North Bay.

One block is an oval-shaped building called Lockton House while the other, Keswick House, is a crescent-shaped building.

The ground floors are destined to be a mixture of shops, bars and restaurants which, along with new tourist attractions also planned, is great news for visitors staying in nearby hotels in Scarborough.
